OPENING JESTER, Genk

>>OPENING JESTER<<
18/11/2023

In November, Jester, the new organisation born out of the merger of CIAP platform for contemporary arts and FLACC artist residency, is moving to a new, specially constructed complex of buildings at the C-mine campus in Genk. The grand opening features a program of artist interventions, including a special performance by the Office for Joint Administrative Intelligence, exploring the relationship between hero-worship and practices of place naming. Throughout the weekend, visitors can explore the site, meet the artists, enjoy the program, and partake in refreshments. The weekend closes with a Jester Film series. Other artists involved in the event are AMOS, Annelien Vermeir, Didianne Leusink & Judith Reijnders, Francesca Hawker, Ingel Vaikla, Jorn Plucieniczak, Laura Eva Meuris, Silke Gerinckx, Slow Reading Club, Susobrino, Toon Fibbe, Yan Xing, and Zaiyun Huang. Supported by: The Flemish Government and the City of Genk.
